Today I will introduce G55 PRO mechanical keyboard newly introduced by iNSIST. We can see from the name that this kind of keyboard is the enhanced edition of iNSIST G55. Now I will introduce the detailed evaluation of the new keyboard.

I was shocked when I got the product. The packing box is solid, so I think there must be many good things in it. The front of the packaging gives people the science and technology feeling, similar to outer packing of high-end game graphics card. The main color is black, matching with white and green. The back prints dense image-text brief introduction in English of selling points of the keyboard.

The upper shell and keycap of the keyboard use skin-type UV process with good texture. The advantage is that it has fine sense of touch and good hand feeling. But it is intolerance dirty. Please note that the keyboard supports 6-Key/N-Key Rollover conversion. 6-Key Rollover can furthest improve the response speed of the keyboard. N-Key Rollover mode can meet demands of players who like FTG.

I have mentioned above that the keycap and upper shell use skin-type UV coating process. ABS skin-type coating keycap has good hand feeling but it is easy to “become smooth” and there isn’t very effective solution. Users can only wash hands or prepare a towel to dry hands to prolong the service life of keycap properly.

Eight keycaps with silver scale are provided for game players. The material of them is different from that of the original keycaps. The switch of iNSIST G55 PRO mechanical keyboard uses Cherry MX Switch. I have the version of red switch. Besides, there are brown switch and blue switch for you to choose. Red Switch is light and users can smoothly tap the key up and down. The sound made by bottoming out is soft, different from the sharp sound made by blue switch. After using it for a period of time, users can use it more smoothly. The hand feeling of original Cherry Switch can remain for a long time. Users will have the same feeling when press each key on the keyboard.

The large key uses balance bar, which is used by increasingly fewer keyboards. Most mechanical keyboards introduced in this year use satellite switch.
